It’s looking like this summer is just generally going to be about golf. Maybe I should take up the sport. I did pick up a new Titleist hat at this tourney (mostly because I forgot sunscreen), so it might be a sign. I’d probably need a few extra strokes on each hole for a while , though.

Pretty self explanatory about what happened here with the title, but what you don’t know is this is the first time that the legendary group have been in the city. It was also one of the few concerts I have shot in the last while. I would like to shoot more, but it’s been exceptionally busy in the last year or so with running ABORTmag lately.

More Golf! This time around I was out at UBC at the University Golf Course for the Annual Birdies for Babies golf tournament. I was happy to be a part of the event which raised around $200,000 for BC Women’s Hospital. It is always fun shooting around the course with a cart that spent a lot of time with the pedal to the metal.. Except for the tight switchback heading up to the 14th tee. That’s a bit scary.

What a great trip to Mexico for Zavina and Manny’s wedding. The photos are still being worked on, so I’ve only shared a few of my non-wedding-event photos of the resort for now. It was definitely a lot of fun, and I look forward to going back with another great couple, which is bound to happen soon! I highly recommend the stay here.

It’s definitely Golf season, and not just for the Canucks! A nice sunny day with a golf cart and a camera? Yes, please!
This event was held in Surrey at the exceptional Hazelmere Golf Club.

I’ve definitely got to thank Yelp Vancouver for bringing me on to the team for this night. Good drink and food was had by all, and several laughs at The August Jack in Vancouver. The event hosted three local craft brewers and about seventy or so interesting foodies who enjoyed to the last drop the formers offerings.

I’ve been quite busy working on other projects, and while I have been shooting, I haven’t been updating the blog. So the first post, which was shot back in March, are the digital stills I took in Vegas when I was there for NAB. I didn’t take photos at the conference, but enjoyed it a lot!

A few weeks back, I was hired to shoot stills and video at Surrey Central Mall for local politicians, business owners, and Target VIPs to celebrate the opening of the Surrey store.

Finally, the M6 which I sent out to Kindermann eight months ago is finally back. It didn’t take him that long to finish working on it, but it was an expensive fix, so now that its back in my hands, I got right to using it. First up, two rolls of Neopan, most of which I shot at The Vancouver Remembrance Day Celebrations, with a few outside shots to get used to it again.
